| Description | 台灣青年氣候聯盟taiwan youth climate coalition (簡稱twycc)，成立於2011年，是由來自台灣各地對環境保育、氣候變遷充滿熱情的青年組成的團體，為台灣第一個以青年為主運作的環境ngo，同時也以台灣環境議題的青年交流平台為宗旨，擴展青年氣候行動。 誰會想到一場演講之後，會實際產生一個青年團隊？會產生「taiwan youth climate coalition」這樣一個團隊，是熱情不斷傳遞的結果。由青年主動參與聯合國氣候變遷會議的想法起先來自於清華大學的學生，2008年，在清大校園內部，自行籌畫、爭取贊助，前往波蘭的波茲南參加cop14，成為率先參與cop的台灣青年。 第一次行動，帶回了好多全新的見聞與想法，卻也發現台灣青年在國際上的參與是多麼孤單而無力。於是，2009年，懷抱著建立起一個全球青年氣候變遷平台的理想，前往丹麥哥本哈根參加cop15。此行遇見了同樣來自台灣，代表高雄市政府的青年們。在這樣的因緣際會下，台灣青年開始聚集，成立青年氣候平台的想法，在參加完墨西哥坎昆cop16後更加堅決。 多次會議經驗參與回台後發現：雖然參與cop行動深具意義，推廣熱情仍需很多的努力。儘管團隊本身獲得許多老師的指導和協助而迅速成長，然而，許多台灣青年和一般大眾仍不清楚unfccc和cop的運作情形以及氣候變遷議題本身，必須透過組織平台的方式達成此目標。 基於先前參與cop的經驗，決定成立一個可以有效代表台灣青年的氣候變遷組織， 『台灣青年氣候聯盟』taiwan youth climate coalition (twycc)因而誕生，希望能集中參與coy與cop的台灣青年聲音，更有效的成為國內運動和國外交流管道，也期望不只感動週遭的人，更要將訊息傳播出去，激發更多台灣學生的熱情，使更多在地青年願意進一步認識、了解氣候變遷議題，共同參與台灣的未來，並進一步將這樣的熱情傳承下去。 |
